God Loves us and offers us salvation from our sin and rebellion against Him. We live in a fallen world because of this sin. Its destruction is felt in every part of life. It destroys lives, breaks relationships, separates us from God, and always ends in death.
The penalty of sin is death. But God Loves us so much that He gave His Son, Jesus Christ, as a substitute to die in our place so that we do not have to. Greater Love has no man than this; that a man lay down his life for his friend. That’s what Jesus did for each of us. As our debt has been paid by Jesus, we are free to accept His gift of redemption or reject it. Sadly, many reject His gift and choose to die in their sin. Those who choose Life will never die but inherit Life Eternal.
We believe in the Truth of God’s Word as recorded in The Holy Bible. We believe its writers were inspired by God’s Holy Spirit and that it is the story of God’s beloved Son, Jesus Christ. We believe God’s Word is literally true as written. We believe God performed every miracle and supernatural work as described: The creation of all things; The Great Flood of Noah; Feeding 5,000 with a basket of fish and bread; Parting the Red Sea; and the healings and resurrections as recorded. We believe in the prophesies of the end-times and all events described in His final book of Revelation.
We believe that our salvation is a gift from God that comes through His Son’s great sacrifice of dying in our place. There is nothing we can do to earn our salvation; it’s a gift that we can only receive by accepting Christ as our Lord and committing our life in exchange for His Life.
Jesus is the Great Physician. All authority and power in heaven and on earth are given to Him. He has taken our punishment on Himself through His bodily death on the cross and His resurrection to Life on the third day. Complete healing of body, mind, spirit, and soul are available through faith in Jesus Christ. By His Stripes we are healed.
Jesus promised to return and to take His church (all who have accepted His gift of salvation) unto Himself. We refer to this event as The Rapture of His Church and believe it is to come just before the great tribulations of the final days of this age. We believe this is coming very soon.
The belief that distinguishes our church from many others is the baptism in the Holy Spirit. The infilling of the Holy Spirit gives believers the power to witness for Christ, power and desire to serve God and others, an intense Love for Jesus, and key spiritual gifts to be used for His glory and for the edification of His church. We believe that speaking in unknown tongues is an outward sign of the infilling of God’s Holy Spirit and is available to every true believer, although it is not a requirement for salvation.
We consider each regular worshiper with us to be a member of our fellowship. Choosing to become a voting member of the church involves a commitment to following Christ’s Holy Spirit, a commitment to Our Beliefs and a commitment to support the church financially through gifts and regular income tithing (10%).
